EITB (Euskal Irrati Telebista) is the Basque Country’s first communication group, with four television channels, five radio stations and three web pages (one corporate, one devoted to 24h information coverage, the other directed at a young audience). It connects up daily with more than a million people, to whom it principally offers local information and entertainment.

Department involved in the research

The artist will mainly work with the Promotion Department. Occasional collaborations / contributions will be organised with professionals from the television, the radio and the web, depending on the characteristics of the project. Should the investigation so require, the artist must have a camera and his/her own means of editing work (computer and edition programmes).

Concept to be investigated

The concept of multimedium promotion will be investigated, based on the integration of the different mediums of the EiTB group (TV, radio, web, the street), from a creative and innovative perspective, understanding promotion as actions that provide visibility to group activities or products. The prototype will be based on the actual promotion of the DISONANCIAS programme, to give visibility, using the aforementioned mediums, to the collaboration projects of the 2008/08 edition as they unfold.
