Main Activity

The aim of Fundación Ikertia is to promote R&D&I activities by implementing cooperation between the main agents of the system of science, technology and society. Its main project areas are Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and the Knowledge Society (KS).

Concept to Investigate

The artist will be asked to investigate the concept of health emergencies in public spaces, focusing more specifically on the creation of a cardiologically safe environment via the positioning of defibrillators in public spaces.

Team to Collaborate with Artist

The artist works in collaboration with the Engineering Department, comprising four people: two engineers/industrial designers who are experts in ecodesign standards, an industrial engineer and a technical telecommunications engineer, both experts in PLM. The main activities of the department are related to mechanical design, traditional calculus using finite elements and different structural systems, electrical simulation, manufacturing process simulation and computer-assisted fluidynamics. Catia V5, Unigraphics NX and Solid Edge v19 software will mainly be used.
